  General Comment:To me and my sister, this song we can really connect to. We see the song as when the world is turning against you and trying to change you. All is going wrong and you're being expected to be changed by the people around you, but you're not about to change just for their satisfaction. This song really speaks to us, and it's sorta like our theme song since we're bullied a lot and everyone's telling us to change 'this and that' about us. All in all, it's a great song, and I cannot get enough of it.

  General Comment:To me...this song means what's going on in my current situation, losing everything, having no job, all the bills were left on you, got GF pregnant, her leaving. Just everything crashing...but you're not giving up, you're gonna make the best of it. Like my friend said, you have to hit rock bottom before you can reign supreme, you just have to survive the fall.

  My Interpretation:I love this song. To me, it's about being strong and unending even when everything is against you. it seems like the song is about a person who is going through a lot and he/she is going to stay strong and get through it on pure will. "I will take your breath away," to me says that this person feels that few people truly stand up for what they belive in and if someone has to, it's going to be him and be that rare person.

  General Comment:Laugh if you want but when I was a kid I watched a T.V. show called dragonball Z. As SOON as I heard this song the character Vegeta popped right into my head.

  Every villain has a tinge of humanity in them, but their leading traits are selfishness, pride, and cowardice. Well essentially this is a villain saying that while he may be evil, proud, and end up making the world a colder place, the one thing that he does have is courage. He is not afraid to die-- one trait that makes him just that much more human and at the same time powerful.

  Song Meaning:i think the song is about a country, or force, opposing a bigger, stronger opponent. i suppose like the movie 300, the small force (300 Spartans) taking on the massive Persian army of thousands. and even though they know they are probably going to be overpowered and killed, they still fight to get their point across, which is literally, I will not bow to you or your beliefs.
