    My Interpretation:I think this song might have a comparable concept to the TV show Dexter. In Dexter it talks a lot about how he’s just pretending to live a normal life, and bearing a disguise, so to speak, around other people, when in actual fact he murders murderers in his spare time.

    When it says “some things can’t be treated” it makes me think how his dad recognized that it wasn’t something that they could completely control so he channelled it into something advantageous.

    The whole “there’s blood, blood, blood” etc also makes me think Dexter. Being that Dexter works as a blood splatter analyst.

    It may not be based on the TV series, but it definitely revolves around the same concept.

    General Comment:Watch the video closely. This song is about bert killing a pedophile that stalked and killed teen girl, and bert going to jail for it. Pretty sure the message is pedo bears deserve to die.

    General Comment:The Used isn't my favorite band, but I like them a lot for their concept and sound in general. Honestly, if the story about Bert's killing a guy for self defense is completely true, i can't help but think that this song just exaggerates the situation. Come on, he killed, but only because he was being threatened.

    The song suggests that he has some kinda weird tendency to get really violent when no one he knows is watching and is trying not be provoked... Basically, WAY TOO METAL. A genre whose songs that unfortunately craves too much attention for being "badass". Come on, what happened to the honest and modest nature of this epitome of emo music?

    Nonetheless, i still crave more of the sound and energy of this song, so i'll search around their album for the goodies.

    General Comment:Bert, throughout their albums talks about his other side. the side that just wants to break and destroy everything. and again he talks about, how this person wants to get close to him and know all of him but it's safer for her not to, because its gonna hurt her. he shows her just one side becuz it's safer "so don't make me be myself around you"

    General Comment:Hey does anyone know the Used? If you do, I'm wondering, could if be about what happened to his girlfriend and the baby he lost with her? - Maybe as though he is blaming himself? Seeing as he had a history of drug addiction and she overdosed..

    General Comment:the whispered lyric at the end is "is it realy that hard for you to belive?"

    and i always thought this song was about hiding your real self from everyone because the real you is someone you don't like, someone who is dangerous, hurting, and who hurts other people.

    General Comment:my sister told me to download this song. She said it was about a girl getting raped and he kills the guy who raped the girl. and at the end it sounds like the girl is whispering
