Ooh you make me
Ooh you make me
Ooh you make me thought I can't say how or why
My will was a burden 'till I learned to let it lie
Ooh you make me act the way I do
No choice just you tone of voice it seems to want me to
Ooh you make me tense up inside
Once chased now this bitter taste as I swallow my pride
Ooh I can't see any other way
It's cruel still I trust that you'll strictly rule come one day
[Repeat: x8]
Ooh you make me
Ooh you make me
Ooh you make me thought I can't say how or why
My will was a burden 'till I learned to let it lie
Ooh you make me act the way I do
No choice just you tone of voice it seems to want me to
Ooh you make me tense up inside
Once chased now this bitter taste as I swallow my pride
Ooh I can't see any other way
It's cruel still I trust that you'll strictly rule come one day
[Repeat: x8]
Ooh you make me

I'm not surprised that no one commented on this song, but it deserves more attention. The music and the singer's crooning make for a seductive combination. It has a breezy, laid back, '60's vibe to it, which I adore because I'm an oldies fan. Like those old songs, this one also evokes real emotions thorugh its spare but imaginative lyrics and vivid imagery. With his description of the bird and the bitter taste in his mouth, it was easy to identify with how the singer felt.
