At the same time, the woman is also asking for the male to do some of the work for her - to levitate her, to make sure that she is also heard.

I think that the metaphore of a woman who wants to literally embody the music is used to symbolize how misogynistic the music culture is and how little impact most female artists have. With Kim screaming this opening, this is also an ironic song about how women's voices are rarely acknowledged no matter how loud they may be speaking. Words continue to be put in thier mouths. Hence the fake dialogue - "what's it like to be a girl in a band? i don't quite understand. That's so quaint to hear. I feel so faint my dear."

not sure what this one's about, but it's awesome to dance to! :]

i think it may be about a groupie who loves the music & the band members,
& who maybe wants to join the band?
