    My Interpretation:I agree with the dude who said this song title is a nod at the older song "I Wanna be an Alcoholic", and I think the song is autobiographical. I believe Fat Mike is simply admitting he IS a drug using alcoholic, Fat Mike has never shyed away from the fact that he likes to drink and take prescription drugs and other recreational drugs (besides heroin). So I think he is just being honest when he says at 28 he discovered vicodin (hydrocodone), and that he is sick of waking up feeling like garbage. I can relate, of course by nighttime your ready to do it all over again though, lol!

    General Comment:This song is about the irony of alcohol being a legal drug while being one of the most dangerous and hurtful of them and how a alcohol user most certainly is as much a drug user as anyone addicted to anything else.

    My Interpretation:Maybe it's not about him. Imagine him like an actor putting himself in the character of this man and then writing a song about himself.

    You know there are lots of guys who started life really bland and then... tipped over to the other extreme.

    I think not all songs are from an own perspective and it's great if the guys see other people's problems and rotten lives, not just the things they maybe had to face.

    My Interpretation:So is Fat Mike basically saying that he hates being an alcoholic and drug addict? Seems unlikely to me after years of it just being part of the NOFX world. Just wondering if anyone knows what FM's motivation was for writing this... anyone?
