I'm sittin' on top of a mountain.
She's rockin' that valley down below.
Switchback to the peak with the blindfold,
Bombin' down at the top of my lungs
Screaming no
Straight out on a headwall,
Turned into a freefall.

[Repeat x2]
I'm sipping on some sunshine.
I'm gonna leave it for the morning in the afterlife,
And she's drunk by the daytime.
I bet she feels it just the same in the evening

I'm sittin' on top of a hillside.
There's a one-way path that's takin' me home.
Climbing up to the peak with a blindfold,
Bombin' down at the top of my lungs
Screaming no
Straight out on a headwall,
Turned into a freefall.

I'm sippin' on some sunshine.
I'm gonna leave it for the morning in the afterlife,
And she's drunk by the daytime.
I bet she feels it just the same in the evening.

I'm sippin' on some sunshine.
I'm gonna leave it for the morning in the afterlife,
And she's drunk by the daytime.
I bet she feels it just the same night anymore

I'm sippin' on some sunshine.
I'm gonna leave it for the morning in the afterlife,
And they're drunk by the daytime.
I bet they feel it just the same.
I bet they feel it just the same anymore.

    General Comment:
    The song 100% reminds me about shredding the slopes.

    Im sittin on top of a mountain.
    ->Obvious
    Shes rockin that valley down below.
    ->still sounds like slopes to me
    Switch back to the peak with the blindfold
    ->switch could be taken as snowboarding terminology
    bombing down at the top of my lungs screaming ohhh
    -->barreling down the hill
    Straight out on a headwall, turned into a free fall
    -->taking a jump off a cliff face

    Im sittin on top of a hillside. Theres a one-way path thats takin me home.
    -->same thing basically

    The line "and theyre drunk by the day time" makes me think of the chalet too.

    Not to mention sunshine is a major ski hill in Banff.

    I could be way off base but its the only thing this song ever makes me think of and thats fine with me.

    Song Meaning:Sound oddly similar to the story of Rip Van Winkle, a man with a terrible wife, and goes into the mountains to drink his problems away, and ends up having a strange dream... makes sense to me

    General Comment:He obviously feels good (sitting on a mountain/sippin on sunshine) and he's going to feel good tomorrow after he (I'm assuming) ends a relationship (afterlife).

    The girl is clearly drinking her sorrows away while he's soaking up life. Something like that is what I get from this song.

    General Comment:I believe the lyric is "bombing down from the top of my LOW", not lungs

    Song Meaning:you guys don't think it has anything with getting high? I thought "sipping on some sunshine"...and then "I'm gonna leave it for the morning" (which never happens with drugs)...in the afterlife...and then the "turned into a freethrow". "I'm sittin on top of a mountain (again...high) and "she's rockin that valley down below" (bj...I agree with whodo)...I am posting this again, cuz with it being my first time on here, I replied to another person's comment and didn't mean to...

    General Comment:This song is definitely about something, and I think it's kinky sex. I just get that... vibe.

    Makes me happy, so it must be about sex.

    General Comment:Also, it's "Switchback to the peak with the blindfold," in the first verse.
