I text a postcard, sent to you
Did it go through?
Sending all my love to you
You are the moonlight of my life every night
Giving all my love to you
My beating heart belongs to you
I walked for miles 'til I found you
I'm here to honor you
If I lose everything in the fire
I'm sending all my love to you

With every breath that I am worth
Here on Earth
I'm sending all my love to you
So if you dare to second guess
You can rest assure
That all my love's for you

My beating heart belongs to you
I walked for miles 'til l found you
I'm here to honor you
If I lose everything in the fire
I'm sending all my love to you

My beating heart belongs to you
I walked for miles 'til I found you
I'm here to honor you
If I lose everything in the fire
Did I ever make it through

    Lovely Lennon-esque song.

It's written by Christian to Gloria. After falling victim to his uncontrolled rage in Christian's Inferno (due to her very painful, emotional take on "Before the Lobotomy"), this is his love (and apology?) song to Gloria. I don't think Christian is a bad guy, he's very paranoid, scared, and probably a little sick in the head.

"I walked for miles til I found you" references back to "Know Your Enemy" where Christian is traveling to tell the youth about the dangers of America until he falls in love with Gloria in the piano bit of "Viva la Gloria." "The fire" is mentioned numerous times on the album and I think it symbolizes the revolution and the struggle it faces to get what they want achieved.

Also, there's a strand of music that continues between Christian's Inferno and the beginning of Last Night on Earth - I think the songs are very closely aligned, as they show the two extremes of Christian. One is the enraged, bitter, paranoid young man and the other is a sweet, loving guy who really does care about Gloria. I think there is some serious guilt by Christian for basically uprooting this younger, innocent, nieve girl and completely destroying what made her so incredibly attractive in the first place.
