I see the sun
I see the sun
I see the sun
I see the sun
She dawns, she burns
She grows, she feeds
She spews, she dies above us
and builds the shadows
which faces myself
She drives me into the black hole
The door opens there
The skin opens there
I see the sun
I see the sun
I see the sun
She dawns, she burns
She grows, she feeds
She spews, she dies above us
and builds the shadows
which faces myself
She drives me into the black hole
The door opens there
The skin opens there

Where Anja references "skin" throughout her lyrics makes me think of it in terms of a protective layer over the soul. So when "the skin opens there" her soul is laid bare.
This song's called "the sun", which is normally such a positive thing, and turns out the negative sense of it, which "builds shadows"...
But the last three lines are sort of mysterious for me.
Well, maybe I just got it all wrong.
