Ursuline Lyrics

Donne-moi la force d'affronter || Give me the strength to face/fight
Le mal et les hommes || Evil and men
Mon squelette et ma chair || My skeleton and my flesh
Ensevelis sous la terre || Buried underneat the earth
J'ai souffert, tu souffriras || I suffered, you will suffer
Ne laisse pas tomber les bras || Don't give up/surrender (literally: Don't let your arms down)
Je serais toujours avec toi || I will always be with you
Aucun homme ni aucune religion || No man or religion
Ne viendront sous ma robe || will come under my dress (wierd in French too)
Aucun homme ni aucune religion || No man or religion
Ne viendront sous ma robe || will come under my dress
Pour bruler en enfer || to burn in hell
Not really sure what it is about, definitely related to religion (and I would say it's more against it than for it)

I imagine the song could be wishes (maybe a prayer) made by a nun. The first part suggests that the wishes might come from a dying/older nun as advice to a new member of the order. "Aucun homme ni aucune religion Ne viendront sous ma robe" might mean that she wishes not to be tempted by men (sexually) or by other religions (ursulines are Catholic).
