This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
Look inside, look inside your tiny mind
Then look a bit harder
'Cause we're so uninspired, so sick and tired
Of all the hatred you harbor
So you say it's not okay to be gay
Well, I think you're just evil
You're just some racist who can't tie my laces
Your point of view is medieval
Fuck you (fuck you), fuck you very, very much
'Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So please, don't stay in touch (da-da-da-da-da-da-da)
Fuck you (fuck you), fuck you very, very much
'Cause your words don't translate
And it's getting quite late
So please, don't stay in touch
Do you get, do you get a little kick out of being small minded?
You want to be like your father, it's approval you're after
Well, that's not how you find it
Do you, do you really enjoy living a life that's so hateful?
'Cause there's a hole where your soul should be
You're losing control of it
And it's really distasteful
Fuck you (fuck you), fuck you very, very much
'Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So please, don't stay in touch (da-da-da-da-da-da-da)
Fuck you (fuck you), fuck you very, very much
'Cause your words don't translate
And it's getting quite late
So please, don't stay in touch
Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you
Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you
Fuck you
You say you think we need to go to war
Well, you're already in one
'Cause it's people like you that need to get slew
No one wants your opinion
Fuck you (fuck you), fuck you very, very much
'Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So please, don't stay in touch (da-da-da-da-da-da-da)
Fuck you (fuck you), fuck you very, very much
'Cause your words don't translate

I don't think she's not 'tollerating' George W. Bush in the song, I think she's just telling him to keep his small minded opinions to himself, and basically....well to go fuck himself lol!
WOWWW george BUSHHH
I never made that connection I always just thought she was talking about a random.. well thats 1000 times cooler..
Does george bush influence england, where she's from or does she just hate him in general?
I suppose i live in australia and i hate him too so i guess i answered my own question.
courts, are you serious?
hahahaha lol
hahahaha lol
She's quite open about not being tollerant of intollerant people. And why should she care? They don't! I love this song, it's so good. I instantly thought of Bush. It's just great that she has the balls just come out and say it. 'Fuck You!' such a good point! Seriously, it's such a well written song, and the lyrics are really strong, then setting it up against a really happy childlike beat just makes it so that you think it's such a happy song, until you listen and realise she's saying some really quite profound things.
okay i'm kind of missing the profound...i get that she has balls for just being like fuck you, but come on. What kind of message is that? if she wants to make a political statement she might actually want to make specific points to have a valid argument
Yeah, because Lily Allen is a politician, and not a singer. Really?

If she was in an interview, surely she would give valid reasons of why George Bush should go fuck himself, but it's kinda hard to make a song out of a well structured argument?

She's a singer, using her celebrity to send a message across through her medium.
Love the song, But laughed at most of the comments.
If you are american and you think this song is probably not about Bush because she's british, You are pretty in the dark.
If you are british and think that it couldn't be about Bush because she's british, It's pretty evident you have never picked up a news paper or watched the news in you're life. (That goes for anyone else in the commenwealth, Hell, the world.)
this song reminds me of some of my friends and also family who are narrow minded and sometimes you just wanna give them the finger or just simply say FUCK YOU! :D
This song has an easy meaning FK George W. Bush (the demo was actually called "GWB FK YOU"
I think it's about Westboro Baptist Church, also remember that her dad "Kieth Allen" did that awesome as hell documentary on Fred Phelps and his family and totally pwn'd Shirley Phelps Roper on having her child out of wedlock. Look for it on Youtube... "Once again, I've been upstaged by my daughter" Keith says this because the teen girls of Westboro know who Lilly is and apparently 'like' her music, but had no idea who -he- was.

youtube.com/watch
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KeithAllen%28actor%29

"Keith Philip George Allen (born 2 June 1953) is a British actor, comedian, musician, singer-songwriter, artist, author and television presenter. He is the father of singer-songwriter Lily Allen."
Link has missing pieces (2,3,4,) this is full... until it get's flagged by some asshole and YT takes it down - youtube.com/watch
But remember that it's just a song, and the line 'So you say it's not okay to be gay, well I think you're just evil. As are a few other people, such as Obama and many other people in a position of power' wouldn't quite work. This song is, after all, about George Bush, so why talk about what other people do? That's besides the point entirely...
well basically, i believe this song is about my backstabbing bitching friend. "and we hate what you do and we hate your whole crew" is about when she bumlicks another crew and we hate them :)
Lily Allen stated when she publicly performed this song for the first time that it was about the BNP. She later indicated that it was about George W. Bush, then broadened it pretty widely allowing that it could be applicable to any closed-minded, bigotted conservatives, in any country. I have to admit, I am a little amused that a lot of people seemed so eager to claim their country was the root of the screaming verbal effigy. Unfortunately, I think it can equally apply to many different individuals in many countries all over the world. Share the hate! So many deserve it!
Yay for this song.
