    General Comment:jnydn you are spot on with your thoughts of 9-11...they played this at their last concert and explained that this song was about the attacks on the world trade centre. Terrorism isn't a 'fair fight'. Like all songs though, it has a different meaning to everyone who hears it.

    Song Meaning:I kinda think its about the guy losing his virginity and how he was mature enought o know he wasnt ready and after he had done it the girl had left him and was gone and it just wasnt fair that she did that to him

    My Interpretation:I get the same vibe that frayeddolls is getting. How time just keeps crawling by after losing a love, and you don't really notice because you're in such a daze. I think the "chorus" (It's alright this will be a rough night, so hold tight this is not a fair fight.) is saying that it may not be easy to do, but you will eventually get over the heartbreak. Great song!

    General Comment:The song is clearly about losing a loved one. However, I think the first part is talking about the trip to the hospital in the back of an ambulance.

    General Comment:When i heard this song i thought of September 11th and how the he walked all these city blocks barely breathing cause he didnt know if the one he loved was still alive. And the stoplights went from red to green and back again but nobody was moving and that was kind of what it felt like for him like nothing was moving because he still was unsure of her situation. Eventually he finds out she didnt make it and now hes broken. Hes saying that it wasnt a fair fight because she didnt have a chance to live or fight for her life, it was taken from her unwillingly.

    This is what i got out of it, any thoughts?

    General Comment:i think this is about losing the person you love, and those next few years/months when you are just in that fog. You are simply walking around and seeing life pass you by but you don't know how to get out of that funk.
