Now that all these walls are down,
Wonder what I'll tell you
You can do what you want, as long
as the curtain is high and strung,
We should be like this all the time,
for the Earth, one day, will die.
Count the number of beings you are,
See how long it takes you.
Wonder what I'll tell you
You can do what you want, as long
as the curtain is high and strung,
We should be like this all the time,
for the Earth, one day, will die.
Count the number of beings you are,
See how long it takes you.

This song is about being free all the time because one day you are gonna die and you gonna regret if you didnt take your chance to do something or was too afraid to be yourself.
"Count the number of beings you are"
I think thats about masks which person wears when being with different people
as the cotton is high and strong"
I think this is ironic, because by my thinking a cotton is not high and strong :)
So - you can´t do what you want
Or you can do but as long as the cotton is strong ... so no long.
"We should be like this all the time,
for the Earth, one day, will die."
I think "Earth will die" - it doesn´t mean literally. I think people on Earth will die. But why would he say that you can´t do what you want (or just a while) and we should be like this all the time?
I think, that if you will do what you want, you´d do it just a while and then you will die. And people who don´t do what they want they will live forever.
My thinking.
