I can feel a sorrow linger in my mind
And the dark that follows
Makes me falter in my life
There's a darkness, there's a light
A narrow path and a wide
There is no tomorrow for the lost and blind
There's no glee, nor sorrow
In the maelstrom of their minds
There's an hour, there's a time
Is this the end of the line?
There's a fire fading deep within
Lost its spark, its will to be
There are seven doors within my dreams
I've found them all, but still no key
And the dark that follows
Makes me falter in my life
There's a darkness, there's a light
A narrow path and a wide
There is no tomorrow for the lost and blind
There's no glee, nor sorrow
In the maelstrom of their minds
There's an hour, there's a time
Is this the end of the line?
There's a fire fading deep within
Lost its spark, its will to be
There are seven doors within my dreams
I've found them all, but still no key

Nascentes morimur. / From the moment we are born, we begin to die.
Nec possum tecum vivere, nec sine te. / I am able to live /
I can live neither with you, nor without you. (Martial)
Abyssus abyssum invocat / Hell calls hell; one mistep leads to another
As for the meaning, my interpretation is that there is a "Mind Maelstrom" - a whirling storm, if you will, within your head, possibly mental illness and/or confusion. Due to this, the person enters 'darkness' - depression takes over and the will to life is lost.
This sort of concept is popular in many of Sirenia's songs.
