    General Comment:This is what makes adtr such an amazing band! Going from being heavy to soft. the meaning is pretty simple. it is about being in a long term relationship, and missing each other. Definately one of my favorite songs!

    My Opinion:i think that the song is about 2 people wanting to be together but someone disapproves of them so it can't be, but in the end they are as everyone realises they belong together

    My Interpretation:The 'We knew it would happen eventually part' seems to be a bit polarising in its ambiguity.
    Does it mean: 'We knew we'd never really make it together' ?
    or 'We knew people would eventually sing lalala' ?
    or ‘We knew we’d be together eventually’ ?

    General Comment:I think that this might be about someone being away at war. And everyone "singing" instead of fighting. Or it could just be some domestic issue that keeps the two lovers separated.

    General Comment:I don't know. Like in some other songs, the "la la la" could just simply be a lyric device that he's using instead of actual lyrics. In that way, you could even fill in the blanks of who "they" are and what "they" are being made to say. Everyone seems to take the "la la la" too seriously. I don't know, maybe I'm seeing something that isn't there.

    General Comment:"‘Cause I can’t come back home ‘til they’re singing
    La, la la la, la la la"
    Obviously he can't come back home till his band has made it.

    The whole song he's asking her to wait for him, and she says "I can't wait through everything"

    The song ends with "Now everybody's singing La." Symbolising that he's come home, because he couldn't come home until everyone was singing La.

    General Comment:i think the La La La part can be explained through how in the earlier verses it's just him and her singing by themselves, the la la la is supposed to represent the peacefullness that should be in their relationship but its not. Then after they break up everyone is singing lalala and that represents the peace they could never have while the rest of the world has it. just my thought on that part

    General Comment:I love this song! :)
    I really think this could just be about a long-distance relationship and it's hard for them. Either long-distance, a band touring, or even the armed forces.

    My Interpretation:Pretty straightforward song. Here's my (kinda detailed) view on it:

    "Hey darling, I hope you're good tonight
    And I know you don't feel right when I'm leaving
    Yeah, I want it, but no, I don't need it

    The guy is probably in a band and is leaving his girlfriend to go on tour maybe?

    "'Cause I can't come back home 'til they're singing
    La, la la la, la la la
    'Til everyone is singing"
    He won't come back until his band is succesful and their fans are singing for them.

    "If you can wait 'til I get home
    Then I swear to you that we can make this last
    If you can wait 'til I get home
    Then I swear come tomorrow this will all be in our past
    Well it might be for the best"
    Pretty obvious. As soon as the guy makes it with his band, he's gonna get with her. lol

    "Hey sweetie, I need you here tonight

    The girl telling him how she feels about the whole thing. Seems that right now she's kinda okay with him leaving.

    Eventually, the girl is fed up with all that.

    Guy is desperate, kinda tries to convince her to stay with him.

    "We knew it'd happen eventually"
    Still they both knew it would end this way.

    And in the end, when the crowd is singing, that means he finally made it with his band but it's over between them.

    Song Meaning:I'm not really sure on the rest yet but these lyrics "Cause i can't come home til they're singing
    La, la la la, la la la" are for sure telling that he refuses to come home till everyone knows ADTR and what their all about as a band
