An apple and a berry plant
Comes with a house
On the grass, who is that
To come by my house
Stands outside my window
Sucking on the berries
And eats us out of house and home
Keeping us awake, keeping us awake
Can I come over, I need to rest
Lay down for a while
Disconnect the night was so long
The day even longer
Lay down for a while recollect
Five A-M out again
Triangle walks
Magpies, I throw sticks at them
They laugh behind my back
Getting a feeling
Maybe I will dream again
Having that feeling
When there's no one awake
No no one awake
Can I come over, I need to rest
Lay down for a while
Disconnect the night was so long
The day even longer
Lay down for a while recollect
Comes with a house
On the grass, who is that
To come by my house
Stands outside my window
Sucking on the berries
And eats us out of house and home
Keeping us awake, keeping us awake
Can I come over, I need to rest
Lay down for a while
Disconnect the night was so long
The day even longer
Lay down for a while recollect
Five A-M out again
Triangle walks
Magpies, I throw sticks at them
They laugh behind my back
Getting a feeling
Maybe I will dream again
Having that feeling
When there's no one awake
No no one awake
Can I come over, I need to rest
Lay down for a while
Disconnect the night was so long
The day even longer
Lay down for a while recollect

The one outside (possibly the Devil) is continually feeding off the temptation. He "eats [them] out of house and home", which is an idiom meaning that someone is eating so much that they cost you your house, and in this case, the temptation eats at them and takes away their stronghold or place of safety. He is "keeping us awake" or trying to push her and her loved ones into the temptation.
The next part of the song just discusses the hardship of continually facing that temptation and needing a break from it, perhaps needing a savior (no, I'm not religious but great literary work and poetry- a song- all have themes from the Bible to add depth to the meaning).
The next part, "5 AM" shows how restless the temptation makes her, the triangle walks I interpret as connecting back to the holy trinity, which helps her find solace in her day's struggles. She "throws sticks at" or tries to push away those "magpies" or incessant chatters (adding to the relentlessness theme) that gave into temptation and laugh at her for not.
She hopes- "maybe" she will "dream again", or be free from temptation if "no one" is "awake", or the relentlessness of temptation ceases and she can finally sleep.
There is a general tone of depression at modern family life but the uplifting last verse is a realisation that life still has plenty to offer.
the person is having trouble sleeping or cannot get to sleep because of something (potentially because of young children)
magpies are an omen for bad luck, so throwing sticks at them, trying to help herself out but they just laugh at what she's going through.
the character is overwhelmed and wants an escape in order to recollect, and take time for herself.
HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WOMEN/CHILDBEARING
Your comment made me lol so hard. If Karin wrote a song about a man's first experience with amyls, I think it would be a little crazier than this. :P
lol comment though
