  General Comment:I feel like this song expresses the difficultly of having a loved one who died in the war overseas. In the music video the older lady shows sorrow like all she wants is her love back in her arms.

  General Comment:I think that this song is about a couple that are having problems. "Halfway around the world/lies the one thing that you want/ buried in the ground, hundreds of miles down" can refer to many things, like oil or diamonds. Since most things that fit this category are often associated with money, that is what I think is the intent. The couple has money problems, which is "bending you till you break". At the same time, these problems are drawing the two closer and closer. And the singer is saying that "we haven't lost it all yet", trying to give hope to the other.

  Memory:The future so the Singer is thinking the two things that manifest into one we dont know what the future holds but they know even if their old and gray they have each other or dont they will still have no answer why did this happen? And if they dont have each other they'll have two why did this happen and did they ever love me or still do.As for now when I hold her we are closer .He's saying when he holds his girlfriend or wife he will imagen its her and in that way they can be closer and maybe she can feel it thinking when he feels her inside him will be the samething.While all this is happening the singers is laying in bed being either awoken from a dream or just a pure feeling that she's thinking about him and want to be with him again so he's explaining all this to her mental and towards the end we get back to telling her everything is going to be alright he's holding her mentally comforting her so she can get some sleep tells her he still loves her and at the end he tells her he feels closer to her and being with her again <3

  taking this definition of monday syndicate, then ..is this somehow implying that maybe there are many different meanings behind the song?
  who's to say the song can't mean all 3? since it means something different to different people, this would only make sense.

  I can relate to it almost perfectly
  
  Its about two lovers who want to be together, but for whatever reason they cant. So they hold onto the hope that one day they will be together. For now they are content with the moments that they share, and they hope for the best in the end. So until now they try to remain hopeful even in their present painful situations.
  
  "One day when this is over, we may still have no answer" The reality is that they may not ever be together

  General Comment:i like the idea about the song being about war. To me, it sorta sounds like a long distance relationship between a soldier and his wife/girlfriend back home. just my take on it.
