    General Comment:I can't sit here and say I don't love my dad. But our relationship is far from idea. We talk maybe once a month and see each other a few times a year. And quite frankly when we do see each other it is kind of awkward. Certainly not even any close to he relationship I see my friends have with their fathers.

    General Comment:I see this as kind of a sad song. About growing up without your father around and having only your mother there for some of the most important moments in your life. Something I can relate to all too well.

    General Comment:The dad never wanted for things to end up the way they did and he doesnt want his son thinking that he didnt want to be there for him. So he drives EVERY weekend to see him just to prove to him how much he loves him. It is a very sweet song. Reminds me of my choldhood.

    My Interpretation:Seems to me like it's coming from two points of view; the father and the son, as if they're both singing parts of it. For example, seems like it's the boy saying he "rides" east every other Friday and he thinks that's a waste of days. But then the father says, "So I'll drive...." I think the first verse is both of them, then chorus is both of them, then the third verse is just the father and the last verse is just the son. It's like a sad conversation.

    Lyric Correction:at the beginning it doesnt say "Some of the things I haven't told you" it's "Son there's things I haven't told you" but anyway i have to say this is just a gorgeous song and Zac Brown just keeps em coming

    General Comment:A great song about Zac's split-up family and his dad having to drive to visit him afterward.
    The first part of the song, I believe, is Zac singing as if he's his father. That's why it's "I'll drive" and "your mom and me." The last verse is Zac telling his dad that it's okay; he has nothing against his dad at all for what happened. In the video, it shows Zac hugging his dad after the last verse, so I think that's the gist of things.

    Anyway, Zac has some impressive vocals and seems to have a never-ending series of great songs coming out. Much respect
