This piece was written by a woman named Hannah Szenes.
She was a Hungarian Jew who was taught by the British army how to parachute into Yugoslavia during WWII so that the Jews in Hungary could be saved from being deported to Auschwitz.
It's so beautiful.
Translated to English, the lyrics read:
-My God, My God, I pray that these things never end:
-The sand and the sea,
-The rush of the waters,
-Lightening of the Heavens,
-The prayer of Man
