Wonder Woman Lyrics
wonder woman
wonder woman i know where you come from wonder woman wonder woman i know the song you sung warm moonlight and ease of mind a touch that feels like home why do you flee from these beings and need to feel alone? jupiter, saturn, venus, mars where do i come from? where do i come from? jupiter, saturn, venus, mars where do i come from? where do i come from? i know you i know you a sense that we were one your memory will come again when excuses are done i know you i know your heart it echoes out of line sunlight will stretch again until the end of time jupiter, saturn, venus, mars where do i come from? where do i come from? jupiter, saturn, venus, mars where do i come from? where do i come from? from the clouds, from the stars where do i come from? where do i come from? from the clouds, from the stars where do i come from? where do i come from? jupiter, saturn, venus, mars where do i come from? where do i come from? jupiter, saturn, venus, mars where do i come from? where do i come from? |

I feel like the song is about how although Nomi has always felt a woman (and she totally is I mean look at her and her accomplishments) she has pondered about her intergalactic origins i.e. women are from Venus, men are from Mars. I saw a documentary about sexual taboos dealing with sexual identity where they talked about how people in India believed transgendered people were the third sex and they also talked about other cultures that have always believed transgenders to hold great mystic power. So yeah maybe wonder women or wonder people aren't from Jupiter, Saturn, Venus or Mars maybe we have a galaxy all our own.
I also think it's for all the outcasts and rebels out there who feel stranded on the wrong planet sometimes.
I love Hercules and Love Affair so much!
