Oohhhh oh, oh
It never crossed my mind at all
It's what I tell myself
What we had has come and gone
You're better off with someone else
It's for the best, I know it is
But I see you
Sometimes I try to hide
What I feel inside
And I turn around
You're with him now
I just can't figure it out
Tell me why you're so hard to forget
Don't remind me, I'm not over it
Tell me why I can't seem to face the truth
I'm just a little too not over you
Not over you
Memories, supposed to fade
What's wrong with my heart?
Shake it off, let it go
Didn't think it'd be this hard
Should be strong, movin' on
But I see you
Sometimes I try to hide
What I feel inside
And I turn around
You're with him now
I just can't figure it out
Tell me why you're so hard to forget
Don't remind me, I'm not over it
Tell me why I can't seem to face the truth
I'm just a little too not over you
Maybe I regret everything I said
No way to take it all back, yeah
Now I'm on my own
How I let you go, I'll never understand
I'll never understand, yeah, oohh
Oohhh, oohhh, oohhhh
Oohhh, ooohhhh, oohhh
Tell me why you're so hard to forget
Don't remind me, I'm not over it
Tell me why I can't seem to face the truth
I'm just a little too not over you
Tell me why you're so hard to forget.
Don't remind me, I'm not over it
Tell me why I can't seem to face the truth
And I really don't know what to do
I'm just a little too not over you
Not over you, oohhh
It never crossed my mind at all
It's what I tell myself
What we had has come and gone
You're better off with someone else
It's for the best, I know it is
But I see you
Sometimes I try to hide
What I feel inside
And I turn around
You're with him now
I just can't figure it out
Tell me why you're so hard to forget
Don't remind me, I'm not over it
Tell me why I can't seem to face the truth
I'm just a little too not over you
Not over you

I'm just a little too not over you
Not over you, oohhh

"You never crossed my mind at all
It's what I tell myself
What we had has come and gone
You're better off with someone else..."
*sigh*
anyway, this song is great!
I'm just a little too not over Archie. ;)
It had meaning to me. Too much meaning.
And once I heard it, I was driving away to Canada with my friends and I started to cry my eyes out.
"Maybe I regret everything I said
No way to take it all back, yeah
Now I'm on my own, how I let you go
I'll never understand"
if i would've kept my temper under control, i might still have a chance with her, but i know that things will never be the same now, i could apologize to her, but i have a feeling that she won't forgive me, now when i see her at school, my heart breaks all over again because she wont have anything to do with me and has moved on, yet I'm still madly in love with her
To me the first line 'it never crossed my mind is what I tell myself' means he didn't see the chance he had. I kept telling myself oh he wouldn't consider me from all the women he could have, it did cross my mind but I keep telling myself it didn't, it's my fault things messed up, and he says 'what we had is come and gone' their friendship was a certain way because of her feelings for him and now it's different, she's into someone else and things changed.
Also, I think the lyrics are actually "What we had is come and gone" rather than "What we had, is coming on."
