The people who committed suicide because they got depressed when they were alive and when they died by suicide, they weren't able to reach heaven and maybe they are kicked out to hell or stuck in human world.
It's just my opinion. maybe the details i'll post later.
While me and one of my most unemotional friends were listening to the end it brought us to tears.
When I was twelve my best friend shot himself,
not a day goes by where i don't feel everything in these lyrics.
"we stare at broken clocks, the hands don't turn anymore/the days turn into nights/empty hearts and empty places/the day you lost him I slowly lost you too/for when he died, he took a part of you"
The first line, "we stare at broken clocks, the hands don't turn anymore" is a very meaningful line. For anyone who's ever lost someone close to you, you know that when you lose them, time seems to stand still or go very slowly, because you're in denial that that person is really gone. "The days turn into nights, Empty hearts and empty places" meaning that as the days go by, that person does not return, and since they are gone they have an aching feel in their heart, 'empty places' being the place that person held in his heart. "For when he died he took a piece of you" I think the song is about a close friend of Oli's who's loved one committed suicide, and since that happens Oli's friend has been torn apart by it, and is changed and 'dying inside'. I also think that Oli's friend was someone that Oli loved, and that it's hurting him to see her how she is.

Probably one of my favorite parts of the song, "no time for farewells, no chances for goodbye" implies that the person who killed them self did so suddenly, and without warning. "no explanations, no fucking reasons why" means that the person seemed happy on the outside, and also seemed like he/she had no reason to kill themselves. And That Oli/Oli's friend is very frustrated, not knowing why the person took his life. "I watched it eat you up, pieces fallen on the floor" meaning that Oli watched his friend crumble from the pain of losing that person.

Meaning that Oli's friend has been through so much pain and shed so many tears over the loss that Oli just wants to end her pain, and that if he could he would bring her friend back (and her as well) the last part is Oli reasoning with his friend to not give up and resort to suicide like her friend did, because eventually the pain will become bareable.
"Death is only a chapter/so let's rip out the page of yesterday/Death is only a horizon/and I'm ready for my sun to set."
Meaning that Oli wants his friend to forget about the suicide to ease her pain. The next part kind of confuses me, but it could be from Oli's friend's POV. saying that she wanted to kill herself aswell.
"This is suicide season."
Just a guess but I think that Oli's friend attempted suicide as well, meaning that he almost lost two people in a month. (I read somewhere that Suicide season is November)
In the next two verses, it says 'WE would do anything to bring him back to you' instead of I. I think this supports my guess, we being Oli and other people who loved the girl who tried to kill herself, telling her how sorry they are, and that they wished they could end her pain.

Meaning that if her friend had never killed himself, She would still be happy.
Condensed: All in all I think 'Suicide Season' is about a girl who's boyfriend/someone she loved killed him self, and she spiraled into depression. I also think that Oli loved this girl, and wanted her suffering to end, even if he could never have her (Because she loved the boy who killed himself)
Well, that's my take on it. I truly love this song, the lyrics are beautiful, and the emotion in the song is incredible. I love it, one of my favorites by BMTH!
