They got nothing on me anymore
They got nothing on you
I don't care what they say anymore
All I want is the truth

Out on bail, to unveil
Here's a song, sing along

They got nothing for me anymore
I got nothing for you
I don't care what they say anymore
All I want is the truth

Out on bail, to unveil
Here's a song, sing along
Watch my style pick up pace
Wipe the smile from your face

They got nothing on me anymore
They got nothing on you
I don't care what they say anymore
All I want is the truth

General Comment:There's a book about John Lennon called "All I Want Is The Truth", by Elizabeth Partridge. Given Oasis' interest in all things The Beatles, they might have taken that lyric from the book.

General Comment:I love this song, even more than when I first wrote about it here. It reminds of a trip to Amsterdam I took with my friends back then... it was so fun! Even if this song is so dark and loud and angry, it reminds me of those great fun-filled days. The other two songs that recall that great week to me are The Shock Of The Lightning and The Turning. Dig Out Your Soul is amazing.

General Comment:I really want this song to be used in a film, in a car chase scene, it's just perfect

General Comment:I think its "pick a pace" not "pick up pace" anyway, great song, wish it could be a bit longer though

General Comment:I didn't know about that, thank you very much, bigrobbo2006. It has a paranoid, dark edge which is kinda unusual for Oasis, but I like it a lot.

General Comment:a fuck off song if ever i heard one. a bit like lennon's just gimme some truth, liam at his most confident, oasis at their loudest. I reckon this will go off live! Its a very personal lyric about how he was slandered by the media for being involved in brawl. he didn't start it someone through a chair at him. he says all this in Q magazine. they tried to recreate the fight, you can hear shouting and smahing bottles and stuff in the background.
