If I had my way
If I had my way
If I had my way
I'd burn this whole building down

Delilah was a woman, she was fine and fair
She had good looks and coal black hair
Delilah, she gained ground on Samson's mind
When he saw this woman she looked so fine
Delilah, she climbed up on Samson's knee
Said tell me where your strength lies, if you please
Then she spoke so kind and she talked so fair
Til Samson said Delilah, cut off my hair
You can shave my head as clean as my hand
And my strength becomes as natural as any man

If I had my way
If I had my way
If I had my way
I'd burn this whole building down

People read about old Samson as far back as his birth
He was the strongest man that ever lived on earth
One day while Samson's walking, walking along
Looked down on the ground and saw an old jawbone
And he stretched out his arms and his chains broke like thread
When he got to move, ten thousand men was dead

If I had my way
If I had my way
If I had my way
I'd burn this whole building down
If I had my way
If I had my way
If I had my way
I'd burn this building down

Little Samson and the lion got entwined in a fight
And Samson, he jumped up and took on the lion's might
You all know just how a lion kill a man with his paws
Well Samson got his hands up round that lion's jaws
And he ripped that beast and he killed him dead
And the bees made honey in the lion's head

If I had my way
If I had my way
If I had my way
I'd burn this whole building down
If I had my way
If I had my way
If I had my way
I would burn this building down
If I had my way
If I had my way
If I had my way
I'd burn this whole building down

Samson & Delilah are from the Old Testament. Samson has fallen in love with Delilah, he tells her the secret of his great strength: his uncut hair after she constantly pesters him for his secret, he tells her loads of fake ones, she tries them all out but when she gets a slave to cut his hair off, he loses his powers, is imprisoned by the Philistines (who induced Delilah with money to find out the secret), God leaves him and he is tortured, having his eyes burnt out and is then blind. Its quite a tragic story as is this song. This song sounds a bit like revenge & anger which Samson undoubtly feels?

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
