  My Interpretation:I'm pretty sure this song is about her saying that all she wants from a guy is sex, as she says he can't read her poker face like he doesn't know what she wants and she's just confusing him, making him fall for her. And also when she says "love game intuition play the cards of spades to start, and after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart" as in she's playing him by fooling him, and then when she says "I won't tell you that I love you kiss or hug you cause I'm bluffing with my muffin I'm not lying I'm just stunning with my love glunnin'" and when she says bluffin with my muffin in the music video she grabs her crotch so yeah, I'm pretty positive this is about her only wanting sex from guys and fooling them haha, great song, I can kinda relate it to my life in a strange way.

  General Comment:I think this songs talks about looking for a good time with a man but not looking for anything more, but still making him fall for her. When you play poker your expressions are very important so I think she is saying that she dosent express anything to him, not even with his face, she is fooling him

  My Interpretation:When I first heard this song on the radio, I thought this song, “Poker Face,” is about gambling or playing poker because of the repeated line, “ Can’t read my, Can’t read my, no he cant read my poker face,” and “ P p p poker face, p p poker face.” I thought this song is telling how having a poker face means not showing your feeling, thoughts, or emotions on your facial expression; therefore, I thought she is playing poker, and not having anything facial expression so the opponent won’t have any ideas of the cards she has. Later I found out that this song is a metaphor for love.
  The general meaning of this song maybe that loving someone but not showing it, and hiding your emotions, “I won’t tell you that I love you”; just like how life is a game, it involves risks and how sometimes you just want to keep your secrets.
  Another interpretation that I got from this song is that she is desperate for sex. The line “I’ll get him hot, show him what I’ve got,” kind of gave me idea that she might be about having or wants sex with this guy she likes.
  Soon, I finally got the full and deeper interpretation of this song, which I think it’s really interesting, that she is poker facing with her sexuality. The gambling parts are just a metaphor for her making the males believe that she is interested in them, when in reality she is lesbian or bisexual. She hides her sexuality really well behind her poker face and shielding herself. “And after he’s been hooked I’ll play the one that’s on his heart,” shows that she is just messing around with guy that she just met or her boyfriend. “No he can’t read my poker face,” and “she is gonna let nobody,” mean that she might be in a relationship or having sex with this guy while she is thinking of the girl that she secretly has a crush on, but yet the guy doesn’t know because of her poker face.

  General Comment:This song has secret lyrics as you listen to "Poker face" imagine you don't know the words and just listen. The second round of "Poker face" sounds much to close to "Fuck her face". Seriously.

  This song is not really about poker or gambling. It is about how promiscuous love is a like a gamble.

    What?????????? You wish;) It's about faking the act of caring about someone when having sex (or planning to get sex). S/he cannot tell that the person only cares about sex because of his/her "poker face" (lack of true expression). It's also about the act of sex being just a game. You fake to win. If you're found out, you lose. One great big fun happy game...playing with the emotions of others. Yippee.
