I see your dirty face
High behind your collar
What is done in vain
Truth is hard to swallow
So you pray to God
To justify the way you live a lie, live a lie, live a lie
And you take your time
And you do your crime
Well you made your bed
I'm in mine

Because when I arrive
I bring the fire
Make you come alive
I can take you higher
What is this, forgot?
I must now remind you
Let It Rock
Let It Rock
Let It Rock

Now the son's discrased
He, who knew his father
When he cursed his name
Turned, and chased the dollar
But it broke his heart
So he stuck his middle finger
To the world
To the world
To the world
And you take your time
And you stand in line
Well you'll get what's yours
I got mine

Because when I arrive
I bring the fire
Make you come alive
I can take you higher
What is this, forgot?
I must now remind you
Let It Rock
Let It Rock
Let It Rock

Yeah!
Wayne's world
Planet Rock
Panties drop
And the tops
And she gonna rock 'til the camera stop
And I sing about angels like Angela
And Pamela
And Samantha
And Amanda
And Tamara
Ménage à trois
Im in here up like bitchh what's up
Mechanic, me, I can fix you up
I can dick ya up
I can dick ya down
Shorty we can go wherever just pick a town
And the jewelry is louder than an engine sound
Big ass rocks like off the ground
Baby like sex thats on the ground, Weezy
My aim is perfect Ill bang ya

Because when I arrive
I bring the fire
Make you come alive
I can take you higher
What is this, forgot?
I must now remind you
Let It Rock
Let It Rock
Let It Rock

Because when I arive
I bring the fire
Make you come alive
I can take you higher
What is this, forgot?
I must now remind you
Just Let It Rock
Let It Rock
Let It Rock
Let It Rock
Let It Rock

Im back like I forgot somethin
Im somethin
Rollin' Rock rubbin' rap runnin'
Miles like I'm trying to get a flat stomach
Like Wayne the personal trainer
My aim is perfect I'll fuck ya
Period, Like the remainder

I wish I could be
As cool as you
And I wish I could say
The things you do
But I can't and I won't live a lie
No not this time

Song Meaning:Well since nobody else has said it yet, and it seems to be obligatory on this site, I'm gonna have to say that this song is OBVIOUSLY about gay butt-sex.

What else could "the fire" be if not hemmoroids? It's so obvious.

General Comment:I think this song is sort of about Jesus and Judas and someone not being themself at the same time. For the religious intrepetation, Dcrenshaw27's comment pretty much says it all.
Also there's the intreptation that someone does some things that they didn't want to do or went against their morals(maybe they betrayed the person singing the song?) and tried to be someone else to get ahead. However, they "pray to God" and try to justify what they've done, and eventually they get what they deserve. There's another person who wasn't paid attention to at first, because he didn't want to do what someone else did, but eventually he becomes popular and he's saying to just be yourself, live your life, "Let it rock".
I think the song is sort of showing how Judas betraying Jesus out of greed is sort of similiar to something that could happen in the modern world, like someone might betray their friend to help them become popular, because it will get them fame and money.
I don't like Lil Wayne's part, but I don't think it ruins the song. I think it's supposed to be the people who are living a lie, he's so happy because he's got his hoes and car, but in the end it doesn't help[

General Comment:I don't know how people can miss the religious lyrics, but they're pretty obvious to me. However, whether the song is deliberately about biblical events or is using religious imagery to address another issue I don't have a clear opinion on.

However, if I had to chose, I'd day it is a song about corruption and 'sin'. Kevin is saying that a life without greed and corruption 'takes you higher' while living in 'sin' makes you 'hide your face behind a collar'. Plus, his bit about karma, where he says 'wait in line. I got my stuff, which was good because I'm a good person. You, however, will get yours too, and all your negativity will come back to you.'

Add me to the 'Lil Wayne ruined the song' band wagon. In the sense that this song can be played in clubs, Wayne is actually a good addition. But for people like me who spend half an hour trying to dissect lyrical content, he looks like a confused three year old who wandered into a deep discussion and babbled about cookies. Except in his case, b*tches and hoes...
