  My Opinion:This song, unlike some of her other songs in The Fame is very deep. Though I don't know exactly what it is about, in the video, her middle finger is painted with a picture of Princess Diana. There are several theories about how Princess Diana was killed and the paparazzi has much to do with many of them. So Gaga might have painted this on her middle finger as an 'f-you' toward the paparazzi. I'm sorry I dont have a real interpretation, tho!

    Also the VMA performance of this displays her, in the midst of people holding cameras and following her every move-the paprazzi. Then, she gets hanged, she dies. The paparazzi kills her, and the song almost has a candy-sweet-popy layer, covering the truly dark, obsessive song it truly is.

  General Comment:This is probably Gaga's most well-written song. It features a psychotic, obsessive, self-indulgent character who in turn just wants love. I think it's sad but it's artistically beautiful.

  My Opinion:I would love it if (during her live shows) Gaga would get someone on stage and take a pic of them during this song and then post it on her twitter. She would get so much love for it. She already calls fans; I would save that number (hell, it would be in meh head)

  General Comment:Ok...so i have 2 interpretations... the song and the music video...
  My first is that, if you watched the VMA preformance as well, she loves a guy....she loves him very much....to the point where she is obsessed....he doesnt requit her love so it kills her both mentally and phisically...."Dance and we turn my lashes are dry purple teardrops I cry" this means,presumaebly, she tries to get him to lover her...but again he turns her down so she cries (hence the purple teardrops)....when she says "Loving you is cherry pie" she means that loving you is horrible, because cherry pie is sour...sour=bad (even though i like cherry pie)....the first part of the song is basically decribing how awsome they'd be together...this description doesnt match the music video all too well but it matches the song....as far as the music video interpretation..like modelmaterial said her...but its not a boyfriend...i think she's talking about how def jam...and how she should never had signed with them..so she rises back up to the top..while others "die" (which is depicted by the dead women)with them...she finally then prevails over def jam and she becomes famous...!!

  General Comment:I think its about liking someone thats famous and wanting them to like you back. Like when it says " I'll follow you until you love me." and "I won't stop until that boy is mine." I think the guys famous and she loves him and won't stop until he loves her back .

  General Comment:I personally think that this song is about lady gaga's longing for the love of ther father.. not saying its right just what i think,
  
  the part the says "im your biggest fan i'll follow you untill you love me " & "i'll chase you down untill you love me"
  just reminds me of a girl who looks up to her father but he doesnt want much to do with her.
  i also heard in an interview with her that he said her Father did not approve with the things she (gaga) does so just my thoughts (:
  Oh & the fact she says papa in it haha ! i just think she kinda hid the message
  not saying i'm right though hope you enjoy my thoughts !

  General Comment:For some reason I haven't found many people who agree with me. I think this song is about someone who is obsessed with another but is too afraid to speak up about their feelings -- it's almost like stalking. The infatuated person is the paparazzi who will follow the other until he/she reciprocates the love.
