I thought it was "thought my teeth would break, the mountain did" too, but seems it's "thought my teeth would break the mountain down"...

I can't make much sense of the verses but the chorus is pretty clear to me:

this is very cryptic but the jungle again is the wild and dark side of himself the part of him that is out of control and wants to get high and party. wrote a note is in other words him saying to his wild side or his jungle we need to stop partying and getting high.
i wrote back saying you were never crowned his dark side is basically saying i'm the king here and im in charge of you, you do what i say we party and be wild when i want you have no say in the matter because im the king of your mind and you were never crowned king of your mind. in other words you have never been in charge.

I think this bit is saying he tried things with a man and he was worried about it but he enjoyed it and wanted to do more.

I think this bit is saying he went with a woman and was anxious to do things, 'treading water' by like just kissing not going too far, but he took the plunge (to extend the metaphor!) and loved it that he wanted to go all the way with her. You could take it a bit further like from one Carol-Ann Duffy's poems where she talks about diving for pearls as a euphemism for oral sex but I think you get the point without that!
So he goes on to talk about how he is bisexual and you can't take that away from him: you love him for what he is. But then he tells the person:
