  General Comment:For anyone who actually really thinks that anything Daron Malakian (lead singer and song writer for Scars on Broadway and also was the 2nd lead singer for System of a down and lead guitarist fr both bands.) writes is "has no special meaning" are stupid. Everything Daron, or Serj Tankian (lead singer for System of a Down) for that matter, has meaning behind it. A lot of times it's a lot more complex than what we are thinking of. In my opinion it's a song about the world fucking you up, no one really caring so the person turns to drug abuse and says "Fuck the world."

  General Comment:I'm pretty sure there is no special hidden meanings in this song as well as in most of other Scars stuff.
  Unlike Serj, Daron mostly make lyrics based on bare emotions, not messages.
  Anger, urge to abuse, bizarre sexual fetishes, addiction to drugs - are just emotions and feelings weirdly mixed in this song.

  General Comment:I think this song is treating a subject that SOAD has talked about before in many songs. It's about how bad drugs (chemicals) are. The person talkin is unable to stop his doping (cant stay sober), he's addicted. His addiction drives him to madness, and makes him reach a certain degree of extacy. But neverthless, causes him to abuse his girlfriend (the sucking part), and hallucinate in a cynnic way (let's fuck the world n rock). And then he goes on and invite her to come and eat chemicals with him.
  That's the way I see it!
  I love Daron's (and Serj's also) voice, very honest, true and emotionnal!

  General Comment:When he says "MADNESS! feeling scared, looking around and nobody there," he could possibly be reffering to Genocide and not necessarily the Armenian Genocide but all acts of injustice especially the mass killing in Darfur and no one seems to care

  General Comment:I just heard the song, and I hope spaghetti Dave is wrong. my first reaction of this song's meaning is that it's about growing up and how your surroungings can affect you in ways like this

  This is my first reaction to the song and I live far away from a english-speaking country so I got a bit harder to understand the meaning of the song, I could be wrong but I surely think this is a way you can see it.
  
  Now when both serj and daron has made their own albums I ould like to see them back together again! SOAD!!!:)

  General Comment:I heard Daron comment on this one. Essentially, the song is him lashing out at codependency. Some people up here hit on the idea of the girl that won't leave him no matter what, and that's what this is: throughout the song you see him with the girl, first trying to leave her, then abusing her, then trying to persuade her that this is all wrong, but she never leaves. So he uses her. It's sick, and it's disgusting, but the song is so totally awesome you can't help but listen.
