Run and hide again
I want to wait this time
Don't wonder why you can't clear this final sin
You know this story was over before it began
This is a battle you're not going to win
Welcome the end

I've spent a lifetime planning out your destruction
You're never gonna witness another day
A lonely lifetime planning out your destruction, with no other function
You really don't know how long I've waited for your destruction
I'm telling you, you just can't get away
A whole lifetime planning out your destruction, with no other function
You really don't know

You better run!

Ask me why again, nowhere to go this time
Revenge will be mine again
Say good bye, my friend
Don't run away this time and die like a man

There is no escape from my plan
Welcome the end

I've spent a lifetime planning out your destruction
You're never going to witness another day
A lonely lifetime planning out your destruction, with no other function
You really don't know how long I've waited for your destruction
I'm telling you, you just can't get away
A whole lifetime planning out your destruction, with no other function
You really don't know

There is no reprieve
You don't dare to look in my eyes
Will turn their gaze away in time

You better run!

Welcome to the end

Run and hide again
I want to wait this time
Don't wonder why you can't clear this final sin
You know the story was over before it fucking began

My Interpretation:I just thought of this today: perhaps it can even be applied to Syndrome from The Incredibles, who, in the words of Mr. Incredible, spent most of his adult life killing off superheroes so he could pretend to be one, and has always planned Mr. Incredible's destruction, in one sense of the word or another.

Then again, consider that Darth Sidious is the first person and the Jedi are the second person.

My Interpretation:I know not if anyone else has noticed or thought of this, but these lyrics remind me exactly or almost exactly like the conflict between Sonic and Dr. Robotnik. Ever since Sonic first defeated him, Dr. Robotnik has been obsessed with killing him, as he has become a virtually invincible obstacle to his every scheme, and Dr. Robotnik would mockingly tell Sonic that he "better run" because running is what Sonic does best.

General Comment:The lyrics in the begining are

    Run and hide again
    No other way this time

    Not

    Run and hide again
    Don't run away this time

He doesn't tell the person to run away, then tell them directly afterwards to not run away.

General Comment:I know this isn't the correct interpretation, but to me I look at this as the US against bin laden, we befriended him and trained him to fight against the Russians then he turned on evil, curropted by a doctrine that promotes death to everyone in the world doesn't follow that doctrine, including the muslims that are peaceful and don't support that doctrine. And now his last sin in ref. to 9/11 has brought him his destruction and need to run.

General Comment:I think the lyrics to the song should make the meaning extremely obvious...

    "There is no reprieve
You don't dare to look in my eye
We'll turn their gaze away in time"

    "Don't run away this time
    Don't wonder why
You can't lift this final sin
You know the story was over before it **censored**ing began."

He has been planning on getting revenge on someone for a long time, now the time has come for him to take that revenge. He has let them slide a few times while he waited for the opportune moment to get his revenge, and that moment has finally come.
