    General Comment:I'm gonna start off saying this song has one of the best guitar solos I've ever heard.

    On another note, I feel that this song is simple in the fact that he is speaking, of course, of being torn (go figure). But, the mystery is what he is being torn between. I feel that this meaning of the song can go for any conflicting situation where the outlying consequences weigh the same, but their polarities are unknown. A real general interpretation, but...


    Really, awesome guitar solo.

    General Comment:It sounds like a painful relationship where there is much uncertainty, self-hate, and bitterness. But they know deep down they love each other... And they keep saying its over but they know the feelings are still there. And he's saying that they will both continue to hurt for a long time until they forget and move on. This song makes me cry every time. (I think there is a disturbed song for every emotion I have ever felt) there's nothing like hearing a song and feeling like it's ABOUT you.

    Memory:ArisenPhoenix is right, it sounds like the end of a friendship. It reminds me of when I lost my best friend. When she got engaged she litteraly became another person, she was mean to me and I didn't need all that negativity and criticism, so I had to cut ties. I miss her to this day. But I have to focus on my husband and my work, I'll make new friends eventually. This song makes me think of that.

    General Comment:I think this song kinda works well with the relationship I have with a friend. We both developed really strong feelings for eachother but entered the dreaded 'Friend Zone' where she insists we be "just friends". Now there is this "fire inside" and we are going to "let it burn till the image fades away". And "I'm not the only one, yearning to fulfill you, one willing to risk it all..." She has found someone else.

    Its what the song means to me anyways. The whole song doesn't fit for it but I think its in the right direction.

    General Comment:I think it's about having intense feelings for someone, could be a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever. You think and hope the feelings are gone because of all the shit and the pain they've put you through. This person might not necessarily enjoy the pain they inflict upon you, maybe they're just oblivious to it, but regardless it's still painful. So you hope and pretend these unrequited emotions are gone, but something happens that makes you realize those feelings have not left you, which only increases your pain...
