  General Comment:This song was recently a big part of my life. I was dating a girl who had been in terrible relationships before and cheated on everytime. She was scared and did not know how to take being treated like she deserves, like a queen. I have her everything and she was use to being with douches and didnt know how to take it. It seemed out of place for her. She eneded up cheating on me with her ex. She's young, naive, and confused,; no idea what she wants. I feel like her and I are not done. I am here waiting, ready when she is. I don't need false starts and have her jump into again because she feels sorry for me. I am ready when she is and I want it to be real this time around, when she's ready.

  Song Meaning:Its quite obvious its about about a woman he is in love with.
  Its probably a early stage relationship where she is haveing second thoughts, mainly cause shes insecure of what he is feeling and her own feelings, she is scared of true love, maybe got burned in some past relationship.
  
  He is mad inlove with her and want to give her all the time she needs.

  General Comment:just another song that describes me perfectly. he wants to get back together with a girl, but he doesnt want to force her back into it before she is ready. he is willing to wait until the moment is right for them 2 to be together again. i am in the excact same situation as this song describes. he is telling her things will be different. like maybe he won't be clingy, an ass, etc. terrific song and it kind of gives me hope with my situation.

  My Interpretation:He wants to be with her. She's confused and has been hurt before. She's afriad, and not ready yet. So when she is, he'll be there.
  
  Don't want to strangle this, so I'm holding back for now
  ^^ he doesn't want to be clingy, so he's controlling himself and trying to be patient.
  
  (Tied down) Don't want any false starts
  ^^ he doesn't want to force her into it, unless she's fully dedicated and sure. He doesn't want her to lie about loving him.

  Song Meaning:this song is basically talking about a girl whos been hurt by previous boyfriends, by cheating or such, and she's afraid to start another relationship, and the singer is saying that he'll be there for her, and he'll be ready to take that risk when she is.
  
  i love this chorus so much... cuz i'm going through this right now, and i hope it goes the right way.

  General Comment:This song sounds like the opposite of black rose. I mean, in black rose he mentions how the relationship was bad, how she was holding on to the hurt from previous relationships, and how he wasn't going to wait for her anymore, while ready when you are infers the opposite meaning on the last point (hence, the waiting for her). This is a really good song, especially acoustic. Love the line "another game of charades/ don't you know everybody plays? / i don't wanna lose to you that way"

  General Comment:This song has great meaning to me and I beleive it is about two lovers who have been off and on for a while now. He wants to rekindle the relationship, but doesn't want to make a fool of himself, and has great hope for their future together. I feel the same way about someone I really want to be with right now. We've dated a couple times in the past, but always reconnected and they were "False starts", and I want to get back together with her now but want everything to be different this time around. I love this song. It's my favorite.
