This song is from the perspective of a man with low self esteem who sees the woman he wants as perfect - everything he is not, but wishes he was.
He feels like he doesnt belong, and that he's not good enough for her. He is so ashamed of himself that he wonders what he is doing near her... and believes there is no point in even trying to talk to her.

Yeah It Could Be About Some Who Has Low Self-Esteem But Also It Has The Side Aspect Of Someone Who Either Has An Eating Disorder Or Self-harms,
