I'm like a rookie paramedic to a siren
Praying for an accident
No they won't let me roll
'Til I got no backup
Until they're out of control

This emergency, brought you to me

[Chorus: ]
I'll be your doctor
I'll be your cure
I'll be your medicine and more
Yeah you can rest assure
I'm your doctor, I'm your cure
I'll be your cure

I got a secret
Please don't repeat it
I took the chemicals, we took to make our chemistry
And I remixed it
It didn't fix it
All it did was make the memories a blur to me

But this emergency brought you, brought you to me

[Chorus: ]

I'll be, I'll be your cure
I'll be, I'll be your cure
I'll be, I'll be your cure
I'll be, I'll be yours
I'll be, I'll be your whore
I'll be, I'll be your cure
I'll be, I'll be your cure
I'll be, I'll be yours
I'll be, I'll be your cure
I'll be, I'll be your cure
I'll be, I'll be your cure

This emergency brought you to me

[Chorus: ]

This is it for me (Repeat 8X)

General Comment:i think this song is about how the girl (doctor) likes a guy who is still hung up on the ex and wants to fix him and get him to be interested in her.

So she tries everything to get him to forget about the ex
But whatever she does doesnt change him/fix him because he still loves the ex.

Until finally she gives up and realizes that this isnt for her because hes not forgetting about the ex

My Interpretation:It sounds to me like he's purposely broken up a couple in hopes of getting with the girl and being 'her cure'. Or even, if you want to take it to a darker place- It sounds like he's wanting her to get hurt just so he can be there to take care of her, hoping for an accident so he can be the one to fix everything for her... But things get out of control, and the end sounds like it's turned on him and ended up hurting himself.

Not my favorite song lyrically, but I love the first minute of the song, especially how he first says 'emergency', and the laughing is chilling me to the bone.

General Comment:i think this song is about getting together with a girl while she's broken...such as after ending a relationship.
the guy is trying to fix her and get her back on her feet and is with her on the rebound..but then it also kind of shows the irony of it cause by "curing her" he is also being her whore.
    if that makes sense.
    haha.
he does this by "slipping" and saying whore instead of cure. ya digg?

General Comment:Yeah, I totally agree about the "This is it for me" part being the best! I kinda wish they hadn't wasted such a great little riff on the last five seconds of a so-so song. It could definitely stand by itself.

General Comment:I don't think Shaant is talking about himself, but in a girl's perspective.
It's about him being hurt due to a past relationship, and being unstable.
That's when some girl, aka the doctor, comes and takes advantage of him.
This makes him think everything is going to be fixed, and his heart will be "cured" with her "medication".
In the second verse after the chorus, it's saying how she didn't fix him, all she did was play him, or "mix his old chemicals". It's basically saying she's just like the girl before, who broke his heart.
Same with the whore line, he's realizing he doesn't mean anything to this girl, he was down and out, and she took it as an opportunity to use him.
"This is it for me" is stating that he's finally done, and giving up on relationships.

I'm horrible at explaining things, but it's pissing me off how everyone thinks it's about two people being perfect for one another, and the girl getting cured. There's too many negative lines for it to be a happy song.
