[Repeat 2X]
If I clean my rocket
We'll go flying today
And we'll hit the pockets
Of warm and crispy air

Oh you lovely boy you smell so sweet
We ride so well
And we load our pistols as we perch upon
My razor wings
Up to the planets, up to the bodies of the galaxy
We fly, we feed, we suck, we bleed, we need...

[Repeat 2X]
If I clean my rocket
We'll go flying today
And we'll hit the pockets
Of warm and crispy air

Oh we flee the scene of our little crime
We feel so free
But the hounds of law they bite our heels
As we retreat
Up to the planets, up to the bodies of the galaxy
Of the galaxy we fly, we feed, we suck, we bleed, we need...

[Repeat 4X]
If I clean my rocket (clean your rocket)
And we'll hit the pockets

I beleve the song is about heroin..

Shes talking about if she can get out of bed, pull it together and go cop (clean my rocket today) the whole time she's thinking about how high she is going to get and is pretty exited, and dope sick (we'll go flying today) And then as she goes through her drugs quick.. but moments of euphoria and warmness after each hit (hit the pockets of warm crispy air)

then the chorus... when she gets her dope she looks ad her score, and checks to see if it smells right, it does. then.. she loads her syringe.. plunges the hammer in and blasts off into that amazing heroin high. and that feeling right there, is her everything. (Oh, you lovely boy You smell so sweet We ride so well And we load our pistols As we perch upon my razor wings Up to the planets Up to the bodies of the galaxy We fly, we feed, we suck, we bleed, we need . . . )

Thanks for taking the time to read.. and that is just how i saw it.. not once did this make me think of sex.. i'm not seeing that angle at all. it seems pretty clear its about some type of IV drug.. and my guess is heroin.

I get a very strong Kate bush vibe from this song. And I think it is intentional. "Hounds of law" sounds a lot like "Hounds of Love". Her singing even sounds alot like Kate bush, an obvious flirt with her :)

Sounds like references to having sex. Awesome song, though.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
