high and low. Its one of those songs that make you want to cry. It's funny because
there are many songs that do that when you listen to the lyrics, but the first
time i heard that song i was sooo fascinated by the comination of his voice and
the music i wanted to cry regardless. Amazing artist!
So far I've interpreted:
He realizes what love means to him. What every day means to him through this new perspective in life. He thanks his girlfriend for opening the window. He can see clearly now and sees he was hiding in the dark, in essence hiding from love.
Nothing can change how he feels about her. ( the reference of banging a gong )
He then asks her to sing with him at the end of the song. Asking her to spend the rest of her life with him.

I think it has everything to do with a new relationship and realizing what you thought was "love" in the past was completely off base.
