I walked the line, the line I choose
I see the people in front of me
I climbed the wall, the wall of news
I watched them show the tragedy

If you were me, could you defend
the given rights to all the men?
Let's fuck the world with all it's trend
They say it's all about to end...

They say it's all about to end...
They say, they say...

There's a prison that's gone, but the fear lives on
I watched you walking on the dotted line
Maybe you don't see what's in front of me
Maybe you won't stand the test of time
For we live in sin, for we will win
I watched the president kiss his family
For we live in sin, for we will win
I watched the president fuck society

If you were me, could you defend
the given rights to all the men?
Let's fuck the world with all it's trend
They say it's all about to end...

They say it's all about to end...
They say, they say...

I fall in love with the old times
I never mention my own mind
Let's fuck the world with all it's trend
Thank god, it's all about to end...

They say it's all about to end...
They say, they say...
They say, they say...
They say it's all about to end

General Comment:The song is not about the world decaying, its about corruption at the heads of government and how they claim to be so moral and righteous, whilst they bomb the shit out of other contries, create and infect us with viruses and let billions starve to death. As for the lines about its all about to end and falling in love with the old times, he's talking about before there was banking, before there was money, there was barter and communities actually strived to help eachother out and everyone could prosper. Capitalism ruined it all, and corruption made it worst still. Darron isn't the type of moron who believes the world is going to end, when it says "its all about to end", he's talking about the awakening, all those people who are now starting to wake up and see all their bullshit for what it is... BULLSHIT! The system of priveledge is going to end, whether its by them nuking us all or if the people rise up and bring it down. Also the Mayans aren't predicting the end of the world in 2012, its the end of an age, after November 21st comes the age of Aquarius.

My Interpretation:i think the song in general describes the decline of society, sure things have always been not that great in the world but we increasing are living in a world of selfishness, lies, secrets and fear, and anything that happens in the world has a huge effect on everyone because of media and technology, the "given rights to all man" line seems to me to be kind of saying, we all have rights, but alot of people increasingly want rights without having responsabilities or contributing in any real way but just keep taking and perpetuating messed up systems and dealings by governments, people and companies, finally the "they say its all about to end" is i think in one part a play on how we are so fearful noadays and untrusting of people but that the biproduct of this decline in society is his realisation that things would be better if it ended, whether he means the world or capitalism or what i'm not sure but he realises that something has to give because society and communities cant function if everybody isn't contributing or protecting them. thats my take anyway, great song, love the guitar chugging

("Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."
    -Proverbs 31:8-9)

Let's fuck the world with all it's trend
(Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2)

They say it's all about to end...
"He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20"

I say it's all about to end.

My Interpretation:First of all, I really like this song. It does have a simple riff throughout, but I think that this is what makes it unique. It's creative.

okay, i think this is another one that is sarcastic. (i do think it's critical of george bush, but not necessarily just him. it could be any president that gets up there and says that he is going to do all this stuff to help American society but in the end backs away from it.)

I do think that it's sorta like what unnOw says. I can see what he or she is saying. i'm not really sure if Serj and Daron disagreed, but I have both of their albums and i've analyzed both of them and it seems that they do have some differences of opinion. Like what I said on the song "Whoring Streets" I think Daron believes that the world is going to end differently than Serj does. (Don't we all?) It makes sense if something this personal caused a few controversies in System.

"They say it's all about to end"

Seems like the people are saying it's all going to be over soon, it's all going to end soon, but really things have been like they are for a long long time and people have said that it's going to end soon since forever. Really, no one knows when it's all going to end. we just know that it will end someday, but we don't know when.

Then it goes on to say,

"Thank God, it's all about to end"

which sorta throws me off a bit. He's saying that "THEY SAY it's all about to end" throughout the whole song...maybe it's like everyone is saying it's about to end and you just start believing it IS about to end because you keep hearing it all the time. (not really sure here) and maybe he wants it to end because everything just keeps getting worse...or it could be that he takes a very universal theme and narrows it down to himself. maybe he wants his life to end or something...(not like suicide, but there are times in each of our own lives that we wish it would all just end)

    Really, really, great song. <3

General Comment:This whole album is very dark and stuff, some nice drum beats and fills, some nice experimental guitar riffs - overall 5/10 nono 6/10 cuz of the lyrics...
