If all our life is but a dream
Fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelery to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me

And then she said she can't believe
Genius only comes along
In storms of fabled foreign tongues
Tripping eyes, and flooded lungs
Northern downpour sends its love

Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely

The ink is running toward the page
It's chasin' off the days
Look back at both feet
And that winding knee
I missed your skin when you were east
You clicked your heels and wished for me

Through playful lips made of yarn
That fragile Capricorn
Unraveled words like moths upon old scarves
I know the world's a broken bone
But melt your headaches, call it home

Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely
Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weather-vanes my one and lonely

Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
You are at the top of my lungs
Drawn to the ones who never yawn

you guys are fuckers. i like the new them. i miss the old panic too, but people change.

"If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed. Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea. For diamonds do appear to be. Just like broken glass to me." i think this means that life is supposed to be great, but it seems to shitty (for diamonds do appear to be just like broken glass to me.).

"And then she said she cant believe. Genius only comes along in storms of fabled foreign tongues. Tripping eyes, and flooded lungs. Northern Downpour sends its love." this part is tricky. possibly this guy was not who she thought he was (genius only comes along in storms of fabled foreign tongues.). also, when i think of the phrase "northern downpour sends its love" i think that refers to crying because downpour means heavy rain. not sure though.

"Hey moon, please forget to fall down. Hey moon, don’t you go down. Sugarcane in the easy morning. Weather vanes my one and lonely." i think that this means that his day has been so good so far, and that he doesn't want it to end (hey moon, please forget to fall down. hey moon, don't you go down.) i'm not sure about what he means by "sugarcane in the easy morning", but a weather vane is a device for indicating wind direction, so you go figure that one out...

"The ink is running toward the page, it’s chasing off the days. Look back at both feet and that winding knee. I missed your skin when you were east. You clicked your heels and wished for me." he's writing about their history (the ink is running toward the page, it's chasing off the days.) also, they're from las vegas, which is west, so this girl wasn't in vegas, but she wished she was.

"Through playful lips made of yarn that fragile Capricorn unraveled words like moths upon old scarves." someone brought back memories (capricorn unraveled words like moths upon old scarves.) capricorn is an astrology sign, but i don't think he was talking about that...

"I know the world’s a broken bone, but melt your headaches call it home." these words really touch me. i think it means that even though the world, or rather life, is fucked up, it's still your "home".

"You are at the top of my lungs Drawn to the ones who never yawn" i'm not too sure about this one.

sorry if i got some things wrong; i'm not good at this stuff. this was just how i interpreted it.
