I love my mother
I love my father
And when it's my time to go
I need you to know
I love you all
I love my father
And when it's my time to go
I need you to know
I love you all

The song starts off really simple -- just a guitar playing -- with the voice completely synthesized. The sound of the voice makes the message "I love my mother...my father..." sound unrealistic and meaningless. The second and third time has the voice the same, but there are more instruments involved. The fourth and fifth time the words are sung, one hears real voices for the first time, with the synthesized voice still singing underneath everything. The last time, two unaltered voices harmonize with an acoustic guitar strumming. The last line "When it's my time to go, I need you to know I love you all" is sung by one voice.
I think the song can be split into three parts: speaking, learning, and reflecting. There are many times when we tell people we love them. We sometimes use the phrase without thinking or feeling. This is what the synthesized voice represents. When the synthesized voice is joined by real voices, this symbolizes other people who enter our lives. We are able to more fully understand, experience, and share love when we are surrounded by loving others. This is the climax of the song. When the words are sung for the final few times, they are sung by two real voices, then one real voice. This sounds as if the person singing is reflecting on what just happened. We are changed by love. We are able to be ourselves after we encounter love; we can share love with others.
Mean what you say when you tell others you love them; be impacted by the love that is shared with you.

How it starts out very mechanical and unnatural then with each repeat is becomes more and more natural. Which, honestly, I'm not sure what it's implying, but I'm sure there is some meaning behind it.
I got that happy but sad feeling while listening to it.
