    General Comment:One can only keep a relationship together for only so long with someone who neither is committed nor wants to be loved. The hard part is figuring out when enough is enough. I love Duffy,she has such a unique voice. I love that she's so emotional in the video too. :) Great song.

    General Comment:It's not "Promise me you won't stand by the light" but "Promise me you won't step out of line" in the first verse (says so in the booklet). Beautiful song, I love it!

    Memory:This song is haunting. It reminds me of a girl, Nicky. We went out for 18 months and I guess it told our story. It forever takes me to her and back in time. You hurt me. I did and I still live with that every day. I hope you are safe, well and happy. What is amazing about a special song is that it can recreate a moment or a longer period of time. And the memory of that never goes away. It can bind you to a person forever more, for as long as the song lasts.

    General Comment:i saw a program about the video of this song, and duffy was explaining that she actually made a different video for the song but on the way home decided to try a more intimate style of video, so she sang the song in the car and just cryed all the way through, the emotions all came back to her due to the location of the song and the content of the lyrics

    General Comment:when i saw the music video. my first impression was the pretty girl in it. but as it proceeded, tears were rolling out my eyes. the lyric is so touchy. this song reminded me of my past. this song is about a girl, who loves a guy, but cannot stay any longer with him. she feels like she is being used. she is not loved. whenever she decides that she wants to leave him and go. she just comes back to him again, out of love. now that she had enough of his nuisance, she finally wants to leave him and never come back. she has been emotionally drained in this relationship. and for the fact she knows that he doesn't love her.

    but in her music video all she does is sit there with tears streaming down her face...
    She's obviously hurting very badly and "didn't want the train to come" but she's trying to be strong and not give in to him
