  General Comment:I LOVE this song. My cat died of cancer/feline leukemia, and it always reminds me of her. It makes me feel guilty though, because I didn't save her. I did all I could, and we had to have her put to sleep. So, in a way I feel like it's my fault she died. I'm sorry, Fluffy.....

  General Comment:I think its about his brother who had cancer. But it can mean anything from a close friend, family member, or boyfriend/girlfriend being deathly ill or having depression or an eating disorder

  General Comment:the very first time i heard this song i thought it was about anorexia. i thought he was singing about his girlfriend who was struggling with an eating disorder and slowly dying. i still can't think of anything else whenever i hear this song. i know it's about cancer, but still.

  General Comment:The quality and tone of the music in this song help paint a picture of the emotions that he (Pierre) must be goung through. This is one of the sadest songs I have ever heard in my life and one time it actually made me cry. I read some of these other comments and learned that his brother made it through his sickness. That is f***ing rad! This song and also "Untitled" are both amazing.

  General Comment:The lead singer's brother had cancer so that's what has obviously inspired this song.
  This song explains every detail of what someone who is witnessing someone go through cancer.
  What they are going through
  How they are feeling
  What they want to do
  What they cant do.
  
  Pierre has done an amazing job on this song!
  
  These are my favourtie parts of the song:

  General Comment:So I get that this is about Pierre's brother who had cancer and got over it. But to me, this song means much more, because people get cancer, and then they get over it. But there are some people who don't get over it. There are some people who get cancer and die. This happened to my grandfather four years ago, and everytime I hear this song I still cry. We were never that close, but... well, it's complicated, but the point is that I saw him when he was at his sickest in the hospital, and it kills me that he's not here now. I really need him, but he's not here... I'd do anything to hear his voice again, you know? Even his lame jokes. I can't even remember his voice anymore...

    same thing here...that's why i cried after hearing the song for the first time...but he didnt die of cancer and it happened just 9 months ago. i stayed beside him, just looking at him the whole day...even though he was already dead.

  General Comment:I love this song. Pierre from Simple Plan stated that this song was written for his brother who is a cancer survivor.
  
  This is a song that means alot to me, when I listen to it, it reminds me that there are people in your life that care about you & if you stumble down they'll pick you up & this song just gives me the strength to move on

  General Comment:There are so many different ways people can see this song, but it hits home for me in a completely different way then most.
  
  I was dating a guy for a while and we were what everyone considered "the perfect couple".
  He started having family problems and he was going through a lot so he was acting weird all the time. I always was here for him, but it got to be too much for him to handle. We broke up but he was still my best friend, but I still saw him changing a lot and going in the wrong direction.
  
  He started dating another girl who was the worst influence he could have on him. He started running away from home constantly, staying drunk, not coming home, and it was all because of his girlfriend. We completely stopped talking because of her and I haven't talked to him since. I know I could make an effort to be his friend again, but it wouldn't be worth it at all.
  The point I'm getting at is, I know the amazing person he was, and stood back and watched him become this horrible person he is now. I know that one day it's gonna catch up to him that he's messing up big time, and I know that no matter what he has put me through I'll be here when he finally crashes and can't do it anymore.
