    General Comment:I had been listening to this tune for a while when I came upon a review of the album. According to that, this sing was supposed to be about the pit of alcoholism. I always thought it was just about needing a drink...

    General Comment:The father in this song is obviously doing what he can to keep sane and hold his relationships and life together... sometimes you just have to take the edge off. Its not healthy but sometimes its all we have.
