The meter in this is part of why I like it. It's sorta like Tetragrammaton where they go in one meter for three bars, then to end the phrase on the fourth they add a beat. Excellent.

but its strange, there is a reference to a serpent swallowing its tail in askepios... but not in this song
Fantastic song though. Probably my fave from TBiG.
Before the album was released, the name Ouroboros caught my eye in the track listing and I knew then that I'd enjoy it.
Ouroboros is the depiction of a serpent eating it's tail, often a parable to the cyclic nature of time itself... both concepts are everywhere in the album.
