    About this song, I esp. love the part where she chirps "are you calling me baby" ... at the same time sweet as sugar and still making me feel like somebody is going to get his eyes scratched out in 3 ... 2... 1

    General Comment:Does anyone know what her name really is? That's really perplexed me recently. Because, she lists off four or five different names (Stacey, Jane Lisa, Mary-Jo or Mary and Jo) and they don't seem to really have anything in common. Jo and Jane both start with J's, and Stacey and Mary both end with Ys, so maybe it's a J--Y name. Joey (but that's a boy's name)? Jamie?

    Or maybe it's that she has a really common and forgettable name that doesn't have J or Y at all!

    General Comment:@Thatsnotaleaf and a few others - Hell is a common nickname for Helen, Helena, and pretty much any name that starts with a Hel- or even sometimes an El prefix. If you want a more figurative explanation "They call me Hell" could mean that they think she's trouble, as in "She's hell to deal with".

    General Comment:I think that people who've said it's about beign ignored because you're female despite how pretty you look [just because you're shy and, worse still female] and being annoyed at the record company are on the right mark.

    The meaning is good, but the music and vocals are - to me - awful.
