Oh girl I've been told
When I grow old
I'll be alone
But I don't mind
If I'm in Texas

Oh boy it's been said
When I am dead
I'll be alone
But I don't mind
If I'm in Texas

Ooh ooh ooh

General Comment:yeah, the lyric booklet says "oh boy." I'll change it. I typed these long before the album was out, I didn't even think to check... Thanks. :)

I don't think the "Texas" is symbolic. If you lived here, you'd understand why Dan Hunter is singing out his love for the state. ;)

General Comment:does anyone else hear "oh BOY it's been said" it kind of makes sense because he started his stanza out with "oh girl" ...

General Comment:welll, it could be symbolic, but dan is from right outside fort worth, tx. probably just letting everyone know how much he feels for the place he grew up. :]
