    General Comment:At the risk of stating the B***ding Obvious. I reckon you should be asking god to bless Ray Davies of The Kinks rather than Kate Rusby, not withstanding her excellent singing voice, cos all she did was sing the song. It was Ray Davies who wrote it and originally recorded it over 40 years ago. I can only assume that all 3 of you have a combined age of less than 40 if you were unaware of this fact.

    General Comment:A big thank you to TheDirge for adding all the Kate Rusby lyrics - some of them are difficult or impossible to find elsewhere. Listening carefully to Village Green Preservation Society I think she sings "tudor houses, antique SHOPS and billiards", not antique tables. Love this artist and her songs!
