This is saying that it CAN happen. The person thinks about, maybe even day dreams about it.

I like this line a lot. Why not give it a try anyway? Maybe there is another person involved somewhere. Maybe even two others. A big old love square.

Maybe the person is afraid to say anything because it will involve too much pain and too many accusations. In the end, the person decides to go on not admitting anything because it is easier that way.

Cuz every time she gets so close to saying 'I love you' but then she always stops at the last second. This reminds me of what a lot of people do. They want to tell a guy that they like them, but then they stop at the last second.
