These summer days have been good
Lost, picking flowers in the woods
Feels so good to be with you
Is it weird that a song with only two lines of lyrics can be this powerful? Not at all, that's the Tobacco-effect. BMSR knows who they're communicating to when they make music. If your mind is free, you're going to enjoy this band. I associate this song with death only because of the wicked buildup and the 40 seconds of "freedom" at the end. I picture a human, or just simply a human's mind, realizing that a dire situation is imminent, hence death. The gongs that capitalize right before the peaceful ambiance symbolize the mental breakdown one has when they're in a scenario where they have to address everything in their lives (ego death, if you'd like to read up more about it.) The 40 seconds of "freedom" is just the mind and human realizing it's place in time; seeing clear for the first time in their life.
What an odd interpretation, but that's all I've got judging by the colors that come to mind from this song.
