Got so much salt from your lies poured into me
You didn't see yourself dead already
So full of it with every breath that you breathe
But you forget that in your fairy tale I'm the wolf
All this attention got you thinking that you're a queen
You think that everything you're doing isn't a dream
Long as it feels alright
I had gotten frozen by the way you walked
By the love that you gave, by that look on your face
It's a cover up, I know everything
I had gotten frozen by the way you walked
By the love that you gave, by that look on your face
It's a cover up, I know everything, I know everything
You're made for four letter fame
Regret is part of your name
It's something you couldn't tell
It's what you wanted to feel
It's what you're dying to feel
Checkout your face on the wall, like what you see?
I'm sure you see yourself, oh, so unique
You're just a sucker for the flame of the week
But you forget that in your fairy tale, bitch I'm the wolf
All this attention got you thinking you were a queen
You thought that everything in life [Incomprehensible]
Nothing is what you think
I had gotten frozen by the way you walked
By the love that you gave, by that look on your face
It's a cover up, I know everything
I had gotten frozen by the way you walked
By the love that you gave, by that look on your face
It's a cover up, I know everything, I know everything, I know everything
You're made for four letter fame
Regret is part of your name
It's something you couldn't tell
It's what you wanted to feel
It's what you're dying to feel
You're made for four letter fame
Regret is part of your name
It's something you couldn't tell
It's what you wanted to feel
It's what you're dying to feel
You're made for four letter fame
Regret is part of your name
It's something you couldn't tell
It's what you wanted
You're made for four letter fame
Regret is part of your name
It's something you couldn't tell
It's what you wanted to feel
It's what you're dying to feel
You're made for four letter fame
Regret is part of your name
It's something you couldn't tell
It's what you wanted to feel
It's what you're dying to feel

They made fun of A7X by stating that they would put their names in a pussy way like Avenged Gayfold did.
Not to mention Ben's interviews that he still likes former members(I don't remember. I'm sure I saw it somewhere on Youtube), so I made my decision that this song is about 'teasing poser metal / pussy emo bands'.
You didn't see yourself dead already (someone who's addiction overcomes their ambitions)
So full of shit with every breath that you breathe (lying about anything, throwing away their morals)
All this attention got you thinking that you're a queen (an addict gets a lot of attention, but all negative)
You think that everything you're doing isn't a dream (so he represses it and stops focusing on reality)
As long as it feel alright
You're made for four letter fame (instead of PORN, i thought more HATE or LOVE. (Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Bradley Nowell) you either hate them or you love them, theres no in between really.
There's something you couldn't tell
It's what you wanted to feel
It's what you're dying to feel (he's basically killing himself at that point because he cant stop and he's afraid of the world without the drugs now)
Also when i watched the video for this song, there were old men scratching themselves and curling up in the fetal position, making me think there is an opiate involved. It's like he's an old man already in his mind, too lazy to work for his ambitions anymore, so all he wants is to feel is security.
Thats just my two cents, i might be completely wrong but i just wanted to offer another way to look at it, instead of pidgeon holing everything into "emo" or whatever, try to dig deeper and see if the singer may have been trying to tell you something that he couldnt just flat out say.
Who cares what genre music really is? Appreciate it for the fact that the artists took a LOT of time to create it and they really have something sincere to say (at least some).
'This song I think was their experiment with pop. Very tongue-in-cheek and a big slap in the face of pop bands.' - As quoted, by someone on YouTube.
whining on the internet.......
so any thoughts on the title of the song? Any thoughts on the meaning?
this band still delivers....middle aged men online complain too much
And for those of you who complain about how it's about a woman, go listen to Arsis' We Are the Nightmare and United in Regret. Then kindly shut up. Both of those albums are about women and both destroy face.
