Lyrics for Sorry, Dudes. My Bad. as interpreted by suchaxsucker

Sorry, Dudes. My Bad. Lyrics
It's too much to do on my own
My friends, I need you now
I'm sorry that I wrecked that tour for us
The drugs left me wigging out on the bus
I'm snapping into slim jims, out to save some souls
If I can't do my job, my god, what am I even here for?

I wanna be back in the van
Where evil never would nor could nor should ever understand
Back in the van
Is anything but their outrageous grandstand

Dude, I know you got your problems, we all do
I'm here with you man we've been in this band forever
Don't let it go man

Max, I will sell you this Xanax for five dollars. And we can go to the Waffle House and talk about aliens. It'll be chronic!

Cause if you want it then come and get it
We're all with you now
We're all with you now
Cause if you're thinking that you can make it
We're all with you now
We're all with you now

I wanna be back in the van
Where evil never would nor could nor should ever understand
Back in the van
Is anything but their outrageous grandstand

Forever yours I am
Like the ocean to the sand
Forever in debt to my band
Like I'm in the palm of your hand
Forever wondering why
Like a skeptic to the sky
Forever yours and yours and yours and yours I am
Goodbye

I wanna be back in the van
Where evil never would nor could nor should ever understand
Back in the van
Is anything but their outrageous grandstand

Back in the van
Where evil never would nor could nor should ever understand
Back in the van
Is anything but their outrageous grandstand

this is totally about the tour with Saves the Day in 2005 that they had to drop out of because max was having problems. Its soo cool to hear some closure.

its awesome how they threw Chris Conley from saves the day in there to do the whole "Cause if you want it then come and get it
We're all with you now
We're all with you now
Cause if you're thinking that you can make it
We're all with you now
We're all with you now"

I love Chris' "cameo" in this.

In response to soliciting_sympathy's comment, I think Max's apology was more than enough closure. He can say "sorry" more articulately than anyone on the planet, I think. And as for the waffle house part, there's definitely some mention of crack, but I can't entirely decipher what he's saying.

(Hopefully I'm right, because if I'm totally off-base I'll feel like an idiot)

i love the breakdown of this song, especially the line "forever yours i am, like the ocean to the sand."
after listening to the whole cd through, this song stuck out the most to me.
i still can't figure out that one line but it cracks me up every time hahah.

I think the last word in it is

"Max, I will sell you this Xanax for five dollars,
and then we can go to the wafflehouse
and talk about anna, settle on some chronic"

what he says is gonna end of being the 10 wonder of the world, lolol.

im almost 100% sure that it says "and get crunk" and not "itll be crunk"
but i dont know what he says before that
talk about anna isnt right
and it also isnt aliens.
its not either.
so stop saying it is. lmao.

i hear a clear "D" sound in the a word.
all i hear is adins. but i dont even know what that means. lol. add-ins? still doesnt make sense...
