  General Comment:Great song by an otherwise mediocre band.
  
  This one seems to be about being stuck in a bad relationship - though it seems that the issues are all with the "other" person, not the singer. This relationship seems to have been doomed from the start.
  
  I'm just the ground/That you happened to fall on/When you lost your balance walking around in the rain"
  
  The singer is explaining that when he/she met the other person, that person was going through something serious. Just when the other person hit rock bottom, he/she found the singer and the relationship began. It seems like this person needed the singer to get through his/her problems. This was more of an accident than something "meant to be."
  
  "And you got to your feet/Scratched your head and started to gather/The life that you dropped all around me."
  
  Here, the singer is explaining that when the other person finally got past their issues, they almost seemed confused as to how and why they were with the singer in the first place. Thereafter, the other person begin to rebuild their own life - after having shared all the previous negativity with the singer and, ultimately, falling apart.
  
  "You never had the guts to just throw me away."
  
  The singer here is explaining that long after the relationship had "died". The singer is saying that the other person was never brave enough to walk away. At the same time, the singer is lamenting that he was never brave enough to leave either.
  
  Great, emotional track.

  My Interpretation:I feel like this kind of describes how my life was for a time.. There was this guy that "loved" me, but he wasn't always the best boyfriend, but he was all I had and I felt like I was just settling for him and like I was supposed to give up my dreams because they weren't as important as his and it was never about what I wanted..but I settled for him because..well looking back on it, I'm not really sure why I stayed.. "You never had the guts just to throw me away." I didn't. I was afraid I wouldn't find anyone better or anyone at all and I was afraid of being alone. "Life moves slow
  when everything's a worse version of what you need." That was the longest six months of my life. I needed someone there for me and he was possibly the worst person to choose..since he really wasn't supportive at all.. For me, the first verse and the chorus would be from his point of view and then the second verse and "I can't fight for a graveyard anymore," are from my perspective.

  General Comment:to me the chorus is like a girl whos been hurt before and just happened to fall into this guys life and he helped her and she fell in love with him but he doesnt love her

    Well, to me, this song is more about settling and this girl needed somebody and she was "walking around in the rain" and he just happened to be there to help her; that's who she happened to fall on. He was sort of the first person to come along and save her but he isn't really the best that she could have gotten or all that she really needed.

  My Interpretation:i think this song is about a girl who likes a guy but won't commit to him. she knows he's the right guy but is chasing bigger dreams. but he is always there for her, but he is starting to move on.

  General Comment:i think its about a girl who finally breaks and she is just lost and "walking around in the rain" and she isnt really in love with this guy who really loves her. she just keeps him around because hes a good friend. then he finally says "im just the ground" meaning that shes taking him for granted and that she just wants him there for company and he cant fight for her anymore.

  It's about being the best friend when you really want to be so much more. You're there when she needs you and then when she's collected again, you're completely invisible. And eventually you just get tired for fighting for something that will never happen anyway.

  General Comment:i think it's about this guy that always seems to be the fall back guy to a girl. he loves her so he allows it to happen. but eventually he gets fed up with it, since the girl doesnt have real feelings for him "i cant fight for a graveyard anymore' = dead feelings? and even though he's letting it go, he's still afraid to be alone. or to be without her.

  She dreams of having the perfect boyfriend, but he wants her to settle for him.
  
  "Complicated breathing.

  Despite his imperfections, she couldn't bring herself to say goodbye.

  The opposite of 'time flies when you're having fun'.

  She was lost and confused (hence 'the rain', because it's hard to see), and when she finally fell, he was there for her, even though he wasn't the person she needed then.

  All some people want in life is money, but all he wants is someone to love, and that's what keeps him going.
